However, there’s always stuff to sell, like outgrown, but good clothing, shoes, toys, household goods, etc. And a friend of mine sells her homemade Christmas candy this time of year. Tips, baby!

My wedding dress, thrifted! My dad taught my mom how to drive manual, my uncle taught my aunt, my fiancé even taught his ex how to drive manual. But now that I’ve progressed in my practice these 5 years, and have the room in my budget, I have a $130 mat, a few sets of nice yoga clothes, and $2500 teacher training.

Years ago, Mom introduced me to the idea of going to garage sales. If you are in more of a hurry, find a thrift store instead. Expect to pay a bit more in a thrift store, but if it is run by a charitable organization, you can feel good about paying a few bucks more because you are helping out the cause. I love a bargain.
