I’m busy and it’s a lot of work, but I am delighted to be a full-time student. *Ok, But for the purposes of this post, I’m saying I’m glad I didn’t drop out of my second go-round with college. Ok, I did kinda drop out of school back in 1997! I always say that I took 24 gap years.

Seriously, where did the summer go? My son is going into the 1st grade and his school supply list has over 60 items on it!

The biggest changes have to be my decision to become a full time college student. I've never been to college before, and other than becoming a mom, becoming a student was the biggest adjustment I've ever made in my life! Another big change was my family's eating habits.

I set a bunch of goals I wanted to achieve in 2011 and thought I'd have plenty of time to do them. I have always wanted to go to college, but have never really had the chance. In September my part time student statues changed to full time. path, I'm not the least bit disappointed.

But anyway, this is how I did: Save $1,500 by using coupons and $3,500 by shopping sales: I spent 9 out of the last 12 months being a full time Honors college student, I didn't have much time to coupon. Even though I didn't meet most the goals I set out to accomplish, I'm not disappointed. Maintain a GPA of 3.5

I came into adulthood struggling to pay my way through college and then struggling to repay student loans on a small salary. As I was paying my way through college. I replaced the water pump and exhaust system on my little old Nissan in the parking lot of my college apartment complex. I learned how to repair my own car.
