I received a call from the school nurse this morning that our oldest daughter wasn't feeling well. She's now in her jammies and wrapped in her blanket on the couch watching some TV. become a fan and 'like' FBS on Facebook. Today, I have a reprieve. I think we're both happy for the time-out. daughter's school was still canceled. My day was spent sitting on the couch with her in my arms and washing loads of puked-on laundry. She needed and wanted her mama and I realized that I needed to get over my anxiety that nothing was going to get done and just be in the moment comforting my daughter.

Our daughter is going to Washington this year to spend time with her boyfriend and his family, and that means my husband and I will have the house to ourselves…and we plan on doing absolutely nothing ! We plan on staying in our pajamas, snuggling on the couch, snacking, and watching movies all day!
