From what we learned in the course, we wrote our Debt Freedom Plan. I just started reading the book, LAUNCH: How to Get Your Kids Through College Debt-Free and Into Jobs They Love Afterward.

Stressed out, we ventured into Dave Ramsey’s online Financial Peace University home course for help. Prior to FPU, we thought we were doing well financially and never considered that we had too much debt. There were a lot more fun and purposeful things we could have done with that money than pay the lender. Know your numbers!

Today’s debt free story is from Stacy. How much debt did you pay off? What kind of debt was it? We paid off $20,000 in about 8 months. We were debt free before I was 30 , including our home. We ended up using my remaining collage savings to pay that off. Hahahahaha!
