Craigslist – a quick search in my area under musical instruments looking for keyboards showed them from $30 and up. Garage sales – I found a guitar for $5.00 once at a garage sale and bought it for my grandson. Find A Used Instrument. Pawn shops – there are even some that specialize in musical instruments.

We placed ads on Craigslist several days in a row before the sale. Make sure your headline on Craigslist is very descriptive. An example of our ad placed on Craisglist: Willis Pointe Community Yard Sale, Sat. I see many ads on Craigslist that are very vague and just say, "community yard sale".

I have found that garage sales , flea markets , estate sales or Mom/Grandma’s basement are the best places to score a great deal on used canning jars. Canners are readily available for sale at a great discount through online sellers at eBay and Craigslist.

Hit up fall garage sales. Even in the fall months, garage sales can still be found. Check your local paper or Craigslist for sales in your area advertising children’s clothing. You may be able to find items for as low as a quarter. Good luck!
