This sweet little candy dish was a gift from my grandmother. I realize not everyone has family heirlooms to give away, but my grandmother was downsizing and gifted her grandchildren pieces from her Fostoria Glass collection that were my grandparents’ wedding gifts back in 1945. My great-grandmother made a lot of her gifts.

Many years later, one of her daughter’s husbands helped her apply for it – just a few years before her death in her 80’s. One of my great-uncles on my Mother’s side of the family bought enough plots years ago for all of my Grandmother’s side of the family. I bought those plots from him several years ago.
