Why Use Cash?

In 2008-2009 when we had the credit crunch and recession, there was at least one day when stores were not accepting credit. We took a day trip to a small town in our area several years ago with our grown son and daughter-in-law. Cash is almost universally accepted. That day the entire credit system nearly collapsed.

Alternatives to College

I graduated from State U with a liberal arts degree in the early 1970s – when there was a world wide recession followed by stagflation. I’m not sure that my two daughters-in-law would agree that you can get to the status of working as an RN without a 4 year degree (BSN) in nursing. My newly won degree brought no lucrative job.
