Our Debt Freedom Plan has been a long winding road. The journey started in 2012 when we bought an office building for our business and then found ourselves with a lot of debt and not enough cash flow. To ease my anxiety about our new loans, we took the Financial Peace University home course and it changed how we thought about debt.

Like many across the globe, my family’s finances are a bit unstable due to the Coronvius Pandemic. My second prayer is that my family gets through this crisis financially. We paid off our last non-mortgage debt in September and have since sent that loan’s monthly payment to our mortgage principal.

It could be from the stress of unemployment, a large debt load, or the amount of shoes in someone's closet; money can be an evil force in a marriage. Designate a Family Office Manager. I have used the extra money to pay off debt, fund family trips, or build up our Christmas savings. I donated plasma 4 times in May which is short of my goal of 8 times. There was a tearpad display so I bought the soup for my kids. March 2021 – I found $747. March 2021 – I found $747.

My oldest was in eighth grade and one of my goals for 2020 was to start saving consistently for both daughters’ college education. Prior to 2020, we spent years aggressively paying off six figures of non-mortgage debts , so saving for college was sporadic deposits into a regulard savings account and basically on the back burner.

Reducing Debt. Eventually you will have to pay off your debt and if you have let it get out of control, you are going to be in for a real surprise.
