Definitely time for some fresh paint. Sonia and I went to pick it up and I brought it home to sand and paint it. We didn’t like the white/pink combo, and besides, the paint job was a little sloppy and a lot worn. But first, no one’s favorite task: sanding. I took the lid off to make my job a little easier.

Last year, after moving into our house, my husband and I planted our first container vegetable garden. I could move the plants into shade if the weather was too hot and they would drain better if we got heavy rains. I am definitely hooked on this garden method. With such a dry hot summer, our plants were producing like crazy.
