Spending our precious and all too limited time searching online and in stores. Sure I knew about the ‘White sales’ – the ones stores used to have in January on sheets and towels and such, but I really hadn’t a clue that there is a best time to buy many other things! I know I do. In fact, I did today!

We decided to re-label 10 empty wine bottles using a picture of an historical event for each decade of her life. I already had saved up a box full of wine bottles, in hopes of selling them at my next garage sale, so we didn’t have any cash outlay for those. Then I found a sheet just full of fancy shapes in black and white.

Many gyms and fitness classes offer free events for the public. Keep your eyes out for these events and incorporate them into your workout plan. Check out local thrift stores, Craigslist ads, and garage sales for low cost (and sometimes free!) Sometimes second hand sports stores also carry this type of equipment.

They kind of look like the ones for sale at Curious Country Creations. Plan ahead and hit garage sales, but especially estate sales. You can pick up beautiful decorations, wreaths, linens, trees and more at these sales. Thrift stores are also a great place to shop. These make nice gifts too.
