If you keep your head and are persistent, you can find many things you want or need, all in near perfect condition, for a fraction of the cost with NO TAXES due. Garage sales take time, you have to hit quite a few before you find the item you want or need. If you are in more of a hurry, find a thrift store instead.

The email was adamant that pumps were overcharging for gasoline because the total amount didn’t really match up to the price times the number of gallons. My Gasoline Ripoff Non-Scientific Test. Well, if you call paying 20 cents more on total purchases of almost $145 dollars being ripped off, then yes. But I don’t.

She envisioned me running out of gasoline and not being able to get home. As an adult, I use both cash and credit as well as checks. If you didn’t have cash to spend that day, you may well have been stranded out of gas. I hate paying for things like dinners out or gasoline weeks after I have eaten or used up the gas.

You don’t need extra equipment or “stuff” in your car that just weighs it down, and ultimately burns more gasoline. Just like you plan your shopping trip, plan out your route as well so that you are driving the least amount of miles. Not only that, but they burn more gasoline (and ultimately your cash!). Skip premium gasoline.

I use gas buddy ([link] to find where I can get the cheapest gas. Well, fact is, when running a car on less gas means the car has to work harder. This means that the car is not efficiently using the gasoline and pulling more than is needed to operate the car. So, that middle of the week idea is SOMETIMES correct.
