What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. This is better than endless nights of eating out, but definitely not as frugal as an organized trip to Aldi. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips.

I kind of hate Black Friday because I dislike crowds and limited-quantity offers. Every day, even Black Friday, is Commit Cat Crimes Day for Chiquita. But here in Frugal Girl world, it’s business as usual. We did Thankful Thursday on Thanksgiving, and today we’re doing WIS, WWA on Black Friday.

I spent: $15 at Target (for two bags of Starbucks coffee) $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $51 at Sam’s Club $17 at Safeway So, $113. I felt a little stumped about what to make for dinner, and I stopped at Safeway rather aimlessly, hoping for inspiration to strike. We’re 25% of the way through this 16-week semester already!

This week, I spent: $25 at Safeway $45 on a Dinnerly box So, $70. Friday I have an evening lab, but there are leftovers here so that’s probably what Zoe will eat after work. I think this is my last Friday night lab, but that’s because from now through the end of the semester, I have labs and clinicals all weekend long.
