I can only be pressed about so many things at one time, and right now, my grocery spending is not it. My lunch leftovers were at least 25% better than the original dish. Wednesday Leftover chicken katsu, freshly fried, because I employed the trick of breading all the chicken but not frying all of it the first night.

What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. Sunday Leftover sandwiches; they’re great reheated in the toaster oven on the air-fryer setting. Wednesday Leftover chicken quesadillas. We had some raw veggies and fruit on the side.

Monday: I never made the baked ziti last weekend like I thought I would, so I made it on Monday, because I knew I would need leftovers on Tuesday night.
