This past winter I cleaned out closets and drawers in my quest to minimize and downsize our stuff and donated everything to the thrift store, rather than hold on to it for the spring sale. January 2021 – I found $1681. Last year I made very little money and swore I was done having yard sales. It wasn’t worth my time.

January will be one giant nightmare when the credit card bills start rolling in. We paid for many of our Christmas purchases on a credit card and then hustled in January 2013 to pay it off. I shop at thrift stores frequently and I am always amazed at how much I see with store tags still on the product.

I’m always amazed by the amount store tags I see on clothing and household item at thrift stores. Research the store’s return policy for unused purchases without a receipt if you don’t have it. I started donating plasma in January 2021 and earned over $1000 in the first 3 months of the year.
