Winter is right around the corner and some places have gotten colder already, which can make doing activities outside not that fun. Oddities and Curiosities Expo - a traveling expo for those that like things a bit darker, like skulls, bones, taxidermy, ghosts, monsters, and more. They often serve alcohol and are for adults.

The PA governor has shut down all non-essential businesses indefinitely and we’ve now been ordered to stay at home unless traveling to essential jobs, needed supplies, or outdoor exercise as long as we practice social distancing. We need to revisit that plan and make adjustments based on what we’re dealing with now.

I like travel. Living there would be a different animal altogether and it would take a much higher income to make do. Once my husband and I stopped getting hung up on income, and started thinking about financial management, and how to make the most of our money, we started creating a lifestyle we preferred.

I have made a pact with myself that if I don’t already own something that I need, I will either: make do with what I have, find said item at a thrift store, borrow, or forget about it. We will continue to save for travel and it is already part of our budget. I think I’ll survive. Choose Thrift First. Home Projects.

Ballenger was another teacher who lived frugally but well (often traveling around the world). We don’t panic because we know we can make do with out the investment money. We bought a used pop-up several years ago and it was one of the best decisions for our family We absolutely adore camping, and we’d like to upgrade to a travel trailer. I’m curious to see how much we can save and also how creative we can get by making do with what we already own or looking for things at a thrift store.

Why do I want to save money? I would like to retire and not have to worry about every last penny, and to be able to travel a little and treat my kids. One of my children has special needs, and we need to look to their future and make sure the kiddo has resources to draw on to be comfortable. That is priceless.
