Although my parents never specifically taught me about finances, they lived a frugal life by necessity. In 2007, when the kids were 8 and 13, we recreated that trip – with a travel trailer and bunks instead of a miniscule tent. What’s the easiest/hardest part of being frugal? Spreadsheets are my friends.
