I'll fill in with some colorful annuals after Mother's Day. It has been a problem area ever since we re-did our landscaping in 2007. Now we're just waiting for the perennials to grow. I also need to figure out what we are going to plant under our bay window. We have planted several things there and they have not survived.

Why do we need yet another officially designated day, week, month – we have so many! There’s Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Grandparents Day, Nurses Day, Bosses Day, Administrative Assistant’s Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Black History Month and now – since 2004, Financial Literacy Month.
