We individual investors have all become market skittish since the recent huge recession and economic downturn. In 2010 and 2011 I did get a lot of it re-invested, even though it was rising the whole time. My situation calls for getting re-invested in the market. No one knows. I need to do what is right for my situation.

Hubby retired in July 2007. Then the Great Recession hit so I postponed for a few years. In 2010, my company was just preparing to do their first round of recession related layoffs. Now, however, I hear that the company will not consider re-hiring anyone laid off in the first round. I’m retired!
