Back in my teens and early twenties, Mom used to yell at me about not carrying enough cash. Either I would be walking or using my last quarter in the pay phone to call home and beg someone to come get me. As an adult, I use both cash and credit as well as checks. If I buy anything online, I use credit. They had no cash.

We bought our house in March 2009, during some of the worst of the recession and the housing bubble bursting. So, here’s Megan! We planned our purchase in the heady days just prior to the recession of 2008/2009. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a place where our sons, their wives and our grandchildren could come together to play, visit and bond? We used it as a home base to explore many activities and attractions within a days drive.
