I earned a free turkey from my regular grocery store, GIANT of PA. I made homemade applesauce when the orchard was having an end of season sale. I made homemade chicken stock from bones that I keep in the freezer until I have enough to make a big pot of stock. We decided to donate the turkey to the food bank. stuff: $40.

Welcome to my first “How We Frugal-ed” recap of 2020. I started a new grocery shopping routine in January and it is working out splendidly! On Friday morning, I pull into the drive through during my allotted time and my groceries are placed in the back of my car. I like to keep homemade stock in the freezer.

Frugal Kitchen in February: Curbside Pick-up: I continued my new grocery routine in February. On Friday morning, I pull into the drive-through during my allotted time and my groceries are placed in the back of my car. In the past, I made my meal plan and grocery shopped on Sundays. I’m going to see how much I can find in 2020.
