In the past, I made my meal plan and grocery shopped on Sundays. This is how we like our iced tea, so if you decide to make your own version, you may want more or less tea bags/sugar. When on sale, it costs me about 50 cents to make a pitcher of iced tea vs. at least $2.50 I keep a list of things to look when thrifting.

Since November is always a big month for sales and coupons and the beginning of the cold season, I do most of my winter clothing shopping during this month. While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. Yes, please! stuff: $40.

I calculate the per-hour rate from my plasma donations to make sure it’s a good use of my time. This past winter I cleaned out closets and drawers in my quest to minimize and downsize our stuff and donated everything to the thrift store, rather than hold on to it for the spring sale. We followed Dave Ramsey’s debt snowball method and paid the smallest loan off first while making the minimum payments on the other 4 loans. January & February 2020 – Life is good! We also started shopping around for a new-to-us vehicle. March 2020 arrived. We were feeling pretty good about the new year.
