Yes, we followed the recommendations outlined in Dave Ramsey’s resources, Total Money Make Over/ Financial Peace University. Since I was getting paid for working and hotel/airfare was covered, we were able to celebrate with a small net effect on our budget. We still look for bargains and shop at thrift stores.
