Did you save BIG in April? In April, we saved quite a bit of money by comparison shopping, and choosing thrift first. i can’t wait to see if there is a noticeable difference in our water and electric bills. April’s Thrift Store Finds. They have 50% off the entire store every Wednesday.

Yep, I found a $20 bill while running on the beach! This past winter I cleaned out closets and drawers in my quest to minimize and downsize our stuff and donated everything to the thrift store, rather than hold on to it for the spring sale. April 2021 – I found $715.62. Finding extra money is a game for me.

In March, I added $70 in $1 bills that I had been setting aside for the past year. Last year, a friend of mine on Facebook shared that she saves $1 bills that have Federal Reserve letters that match the first letter of her kids’ names. I added the check to our savings. It was a pretty easy month to find the cash. How did I do in May?
