This is a recipe from my mother’s Aunt Tessie who owned the Shel-R0n in Philadelphia. Nicole’s Recipes: Aunt Tessie’s Kugel. A kugel is a noodle pudding either savory (usually with potato) or sweet (usually with noodle). This is a sweet kugel but you serve it with the main dish. Have you ever tried kugel?

My favorite memory of trick or treat was that my great Aunt Alice who lived 2 houses down from us gave out FULL sized Clark bars. It looks like I’ll be doing some baking in November! And if you don’t have children to raid for these recipes, Halloween candy goes on sale on November 1. Uses a variety of candy.

I recently shared Aunt Tessie’s Kugel with you which is very rich and creamy. I usually double the recipe to make two of the 8×8 pans so there are leftovers! Add noodles, sugar, raisins and melted margarine Mix well and turn into greased 8x8 pan Sprinkle the top with cinnamon Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Ingredients 8 oz.
