I’m a big fan of all things sweet and chocolate, so I look forward to Halloween candy. My favorite memory of trick or treat was that my great Aunt Alice who lived 2 houses down from us gave out FULL sized Clark bars. I’m a HUGE fan of after holiday clearance! Halloween Spider Cookies from Kids in the Kitchen.

Luckily the kids didn’t get up early on Christmas morning. After too many presents from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and too many opening-present cookies, we took a break for some dinner. Of course, everything didn’t get purchased or made or cooked but Christmas came anyway. I slept until almost 9!

Factory Kids in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, is set to release Pound Puppies: A Perfect Match on DVD! The year they came out they were so hot and my aunt literally dove on the floor at a Bradlees in Massachusetts to get me one! So I am a huge Pound Puppies fan and can’t wait for my girls to watch this!

For me, it was one of my great aunts and uncles who lived at one end of a dirt road, down from my grandfather. My cousins and siblings and I would run back and forth between the three houses on that dirt road kicking up dust, listening to cicada’s, and acting like kids. The family behind us, for instance, lived for years in their basement with their brood of kids (they ended up with around 15 I remember). Grandma put us kids to bed in the south bedroom when we stayed over at the farm. Of course, later on I did get some really nice real dolls from my St Louis Aunts. it was A-OK with me.
