And then, in March, my husband learned that his mentor was likely going to be moving to Florida. We were taken aback but decided we could move to Florida for a few years so my husband could finish his post-doc with his mentor. If we have to move to Arizona anyway, I might as well enjoy my time there. How did you respond?

Many of you know that I got married almost a year ago and we have settled into married life pretty well! My aunt just retired in October and bought a house very close to mine and will be moving from Boston to south Florida in the next couple weeks.

My aunt recently moved to Florida after retiring from her job up north and it has taken her some time to adjust. She says they are well made and considers them her “good glasses” now and says those of you who need reading glasses will understand this! Enter Optx2020! They are lightweight and super stylish.

This is a great feature to have living in Florida! It has the previously mentioned air conditioned front seats as well as heated front AND rear seats! I love this for those chilly mornings that we get a few times a year in Florida. The color combo was great and there was enough darker gray trim in the car that it went well.

To add insult to injury my aunt just moved to Florida (like last week) from Boston so she could be closer to family in her retirement. My father has been present as well but he lives 45 minutes away and has a cold himself. This week she is in the hospital with pneumonia and is having breathing problems.

We took my Mom with us to Florida in the 1980’s. My family won’t commit to specifics very easily, but they know in general what they have to deal with, and I usually do as well. If the kids are old enough to travel well, they are probably school aged and teachers get irate if their students are pulled out of school.
