Not only do I save a significant amount of money, but I also keep those still useable items out of the landfill. Just look at the many people scouring garage sales in the summer. While they may have had to buy used in the early days of their marriage, they now likely have enough money to buy new, but they choose not to.

Now, more than ever we need to save money. My Aunt Ida always gifted pre-loved items and they were some of the best gifts I ever received. Some of the places I suggest looking for items include Flea Markets, Vendor Malls, Garage and Yard Sales, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy and antique stores.

Save Money and Plan Now for Holiday Spending. I have an Aunt that loves to give small gifts to many of her neighbors. She also loves to go to garage sales and most of her small gifts are loot from her bargains at the sales. If you garage sale, look for those decorations! It is her way to celebrate the holidays.

Mom and Dad always pointed out how much better off we were than our neighbors, because we were saving money and building up assets.
