In my free time I enjoy canning and preserving food (well, I enjoy the results of it, ha!), baking, library storytimes, and being involved in our church’s Bible study, meals for the sick, and other various ministries. I would probably add it to our savings account for house projects. That is a never-ending list!

Ways to Save Money on a Tight Budget

My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. Most leftovers can easily be turned into an egg bake. I do this ALL the time! That’s a big chunk of extra money you can keep in your savings account during the holidays!

I’m thankful we had to learn how to cut back—how ridiculous was it to have dual full-time incomes/no kids and not save a cent?! I very much enjoy baking, and anytime there is an opportunity I’m trying something new in the kitchen. Currently, we have a few home improvement projects and trips we’re saving for.
