What We Ate Saturday I baked up the rest of the thin-crust pizza dough I’d made. And she got some Domino’s pizza on the way home. Sunday I made waffles topped with fruit and whipped cream, and we had some bacon on the side. Monday This was the day I passed my competency tests!

Tuesday I made a Dinnerly meal, which was Mediterranean beef pita pizzas: Zoe and I both liked these (sorta like an easy gyro), so I’ll probably put this meal idea into our rotation even if I don’t get it straight from Dinnerly. But I added some of the rotisserie chicken for some extra protein. It definitely saved me from takeout.

What We Ate Saturday I made one of Zoe’s faves: the baked ham/Swiss sandwiches on King’s Hawaiian rolls. Monday I had a snacky dinner earlier, and then when Zoe came home from her evening shift at work, she had a frozen pizza. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips.

Sunday This was the day I had the squash soup/homemade crouton combo, in an effort to clean out my freezer. And I sauteed some broccoli for the two of us.

Tuesday I pulled out a frozen pizza and that was our dinner. so Zoe’s gonna bake some ham and Swiss sandwiches for herself, and I don’t know what I’m going to eat. Either that, or I need to keep a lint roller in my car! Zoe had a quesadilla when she got home from a shift that ended at 9:30 pm.
