We do put up decorations (ones I buy at garage sales or thrift stores and reuse each year). Cut it up, peel it, scrape it, bake it, then put it in the blender. Compost it by cutting it up and putting it on the pile. No kids = no money on candy = no candy wrappers in the landfill. Tip # 2 Recycle/reuse costumes.
