I’m more of a “this and that” kind of cook, and baking is just too precise. Lately I’ve been playing around with cakes and quick breads and, according to my family, this one was the best so far. 1 8-ounce brick of cream cheese, room temperature. Like, at all. Plus, I always mess it up.
