How did you get interested in saving money? When my brother and I were growing up, our parents didn’t have much discretionary income. I learned to save money by watching my parents. (I I still remember saving my change as a kid so I could “shop” for books at yard sales.)

The February 2012 issue of Entrepreneur magazine quoted a Harvard Business Review study done in 2010 which found that at Best Buy, a 0.1 Free 3 Star Hotel Rooms. Of course I signed up with each airline and hotel for points.

Somehow, I was watching a video of Korean YouTuber Maangchi making something she called a frugal Korean dish, which made me think that I probably should look for more frugal recipes to save money on expensive ingredients. How did you get interested in saving money? Another thing I splurge on is stays in hotels.

I had two older siblings, but my sister passed away in a car accident in 2000 and my brother passed away from MS in 2020 so now I’m an only child. How did you get interested in saving money? Being between houses and living in hotels mostly, it’s hard to cook. If I buy A, it will take longer.
