We had a coal stove at home, but my brother and my shared bedroom was just a few feet from the stove. One of their uncles played a joke on them and told them that they could ‘grow’ a pony. All they had to do was find some pony poop and plant it! Plus, it can be really inconvenient to “make do or do without!”
