Every square inch of their lawn must have been covered with lights and it was magical to me and my brother. become a fan and 'like' FBS on Facebook. There was music, flashing lights, moving reindeer, and a Santa climbing up the chimney. What propels someone to decorate the outside of their home to such a level, I'll never know.

Ours was smaller (about 700 square feet) – 2 bedrooms (my brother and I shared one and my parents the other), a kitchen and a living room, No basement or garage. People opened their windows and used attic fans or sat in metal lawn chairs outside to cool off. The average home size in America was around 1100 square feet.
