While this philosophy may not be the best boost for my social life, it is a great boost for my savings account! I learned this philosophy from my parents, who taught me nearly from birth that saving money was important. It becomes a special treat instead of an ordinary occurrence. Going out is expensive.

My philosophy is to be balanced and that is why I not only focus on personal finance on this site but also discuss the other fundamentals of our existence: being healthy, living green, working hard, and giving back. Everything we do should have a purpose and be part of our “big picture” of what we want life to be.
