Here are a few thoughts on giving your child access to music on a budget. Garage sales – I found a guitar for $5.00 once at a garage sale and bought it for my grandson. Relatives – Great Uncle Joe may still have that trumpet he used to play and might like to donate it to a future generation! Go Frugal'

However, I wait until spring and summer to buy decorations – and get them at garage sales. These get donated to thrift stores or placed in consignment shops so you might keep checking your local stores for these. I always shop for Christmas wrapping paper, gift tags, boxes and really nice ornaments the week after Christmas.
