I am confused by “restocking” videos

Are these people running a convenience store out of their homes? I should add: obviously if you buy bulk foods from a packaging-free/low-packaging store, then it makes sense to put that food into containers. But I like to use them for things that aren’t already packaged, like leftovers, or homemade yogurt.)
