What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips. Sunday Leftover sandwiches; they’re great reheated in the toaster oven on the air-fryer setting.

I spent: $15 at Target (for two bags of Starbucks coffee) $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $51 at Sam’s Club $17 at Safeway So, $113. I felt a little stumped about what to make for dinner, and I stopped at Safeway rather aimlessly, hoping for inspiration to strike. We’re 25% of the way through this 16-week semester already!

I spent: $147 at Sam’s Club $15 at Safeway $31 on a Hungry Harvest box Sooo, $193 for me this week. What We Ate Saturday I ate dinner with a friend, and Zoe had leftover pizza when she got back from work. Monday I picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway. Next week’s groceries will be cheaper.

I spent: $50 at Safeway And that’s it! What We Ate Saturday I made French toast with berries and whipped cream… and I was lucky enough to snag the last container of whipped cream at Safeway. Wednesday Zoe didn’t get home until later, so she ate some leftover sandwiches. It was a low-spending week for me.

a lunch salad from this week I spent: $71 at Aldi $6 at Safeway So, $77 for us this week. What We Ate Saturday Leftover chicken noodle soup , and I again added cream to mine. Also, I took the suggestion from one of you and added my leftover tortellini to the soup. Wednesday Leftover chili. PROBABLY NOT.

This week, I spent: $35 at Lidl $14 at Safeway $11 at Chick Fil A (for a sad reason. From his younger days Zoe and I went together to buy Socks right after Christmas in 2021, and then a few weeks later, we left the family home and moved in with my parents. So, just $60 this week for Miss Zoe and me. I made a green salad on the side.

What I Spent I spent: $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $34 at Safeway $15 on fried chicken So, $79 for me. And Zoe picked up some dinner on the way home from work. Monday I had a free frozen pizza from Safeway sitting in my chest freezer, so that’s what we ate! But here in Frugal Girl world, it’s business as usual.
