Fuel-injected cars do not, contrary to popular mythology, use more gas starting up each time than they would just idling Combine errands.

Experiment with Using One Car – If you and your spouse have two cars, you can try just using one car for a week or two to see if you can get by with one car. You should make sure to choose the car that has the best gas mileage. If you have access to public transportation, are you using it?
