Why I Don’t Use Credit Card Rewards Programs

I remember the old S&H Green Stamp days when folks would paste their little green stamps (which they go from buying stuff) in a book which could then be redeemed for more merchandise available from the catalog. We prefer not to use credit. It’s a pain to use the points. It’s probably working!

The Peach Tree Battle

History In 2006 I planted fruit trees, in anticipation of retiring and having time to pick and use the harvest. I ordered them from a nursery catalog and paid a total of about $95 for four trees. Other Problems The Lodi bore apples that second year, but they were enjoyed by the bugs instead of us.
