I got into minimalist content in high school, and somehow found Dave Ramey through there just before I went to college. I would like to pursue higher education in some way, maybe a History PhD, or a library science degree? My college education. I was ASTONISHED, I thought everyone had access to a library.

I’m 47, married, and living amongst the cornfields in a college town in the Midwest U.S. I’ve been an architect, day-care teacher to toddlers, and library clerk, but am currently a SAHM to a 14yo son and 9yo daughter. Another big win would be taking advantage of our great public library system. Enjoying some outdoor time.

When my daddy passed last January, I inherited all the heavy farm labor responsibilities- I never knew I could have impressive muscles😊 It feels like I’ve been going to a homesteading college this year, it’s a love/hate relationship. Ironically, this happened at Christmas-totally out of the blue.
