If you are a parent, some day you will most likely become a grandparent. Being a grandparent is tons more fun than parenting. I only remember staying with them once without parents around. My parents were somewhat more interactive with their grandchildren (my kids). Yet you can enjoy loving them and being loved by them.

Back when I was engaged and living on my own for the first time (I lived with my parents while in grad school to save on rent), I went to the library a lot and found a copy of the Tightwad Gazette. Makeup, nail polish, and clothes. But I had to SHOP for clothes. Cloth diapering. Maybe four years? Not at all.

Perhaps you are too young to think about that, but if you are reading this, I bet your parents are not! Our clothes dryer is on an inside wall. We currently have multiple family members (2 sister-in-laws, 4 nieces/nephews and a son) within 30 miles of our home. Where will you live when you grow old? I’m not.

Gently used clothing, baby items, furniture, electronics, small appliances, books, fitness equipment, and tools sell well. My niece has an eye for vintage clothes and toys and has a thriving eBay business. The schedule was perfect for us as young parents, and I enjoyed getting out of the house.
