My niece did this and was very pleased with what she received.

My niece goes to Goodwill and buys what I can only describe as bags of junk, and she makes a full-time income selling it on eBay. Used clothing, toys, and necessities sell very well. Things like bassinets and newborn clothing are in high demand and sell quickly! Don’t spend it!! Have you got kids? Sell their stuff!!

There is an Older Adult Transportation Service available in our area, and we do have a son in the metro and then there are always cabs. We have set up our finances so that our sons can take over when we die or become incapacitated and we have an accountant. We have a tech savy son in town, plus there is always the Geek Squad.

I’m fifty years old, married almost 25 years, with four sons of various ages ranging from all grown up to still-working-on-it. ? an illustration I did for one of my son’s books. This is a butcher board table my husband and sons made when we were living in a rental with very little useful counter space.

Fashion changes and new or nearly new clothing gets sold at sales or donated to charity. 25 nearly new hot wheel cars for the grand nieces and nephews to use at our house – $1 for all. When she died, I passed the cases on to my son – whose wife has 3 adorable little Yorkies. I hate waste and I see it all the time.

Gently used clothing, baby items, furniture, electronics, small appliances, books, fitness equipment, and tools sell well. My niece has an eye for vintage clothes and toys and has a thriving eBay business. For example, I’ve been telling my son for years that he should start a handyman business.
