Sometimes, as we shop we see things we would like to own and decide to treat ourselves with a gift or two as well. I always shop for Christmas wrapping paper, gift tags, boxes and really nice ornaments the week after Christmas.

Did you know that Americans dispose more than 700 billion pounds of paper, plastic, glass, wood, food, metal, clothing, electronics, etc. When you have mess to clean up, use cloth napkins, sponges, or dishclothes that can be washed instead of reaching for paper towels. Go thrifty. 7000 billion pounds!!! Reuse what you can.

I’m always amazed by the amount store tags I see on clothing and household item at thrift stores. 19 – Shop thrifty for you clothing needs. I truly am not opposed to shopping at retail stores, but I regularly find what I need for myself and my daughters at thrift stores and spend a fraction of the price.
