While I'll ask friends for recommendations, I'll also ask people I meet while out and about, like my Uber driver, or staff at my hotel when I meet them in the elevator (cleaning staff mostly, because they are the regular people who have to budget and don't get anything for sharing those special spots. Clearly, food is very important to me.

I didn’t want to have to bring several bags into hotels each night, so I made sure that everything I would use regularly was in one bag. Use the Rolling Method to Pack Clothes. When I pack, I roll my clothes. Plus, if I roll my clothes carefully, they don’t get very wrinkly. Make sure you eat healthy food.

Food and drink and some entertainment venues are extra. Unlike most theme parks, parking is free (although you can pay for parking close to the entrance) and a free shuttle provides transportation to and from the entrance. Also like most theme parks, entrance fees, souvenirs, food and drink can be very expensive.

She charged up credit cards to buy food and clothing. Her gas is turned off, she heats water in the kitchen to shower, and dries her clothes on the line. She gets all her food from the food pantry, which she visits on her bicycle. Wear as many of your clothes as you can (especially in cool weather).
