If you have a chest freezer or other non-defrosting freezer, homemade bread can stay fresh for several months in its frozen state. I’m an older adult in college also, and I would love to have the option to listen to the books I have to read. Now, I regularly stop in at Safeway (decidedly NOT the cheapest grocery store!)
