When she saw that her great-grandchildren were not writing thank you notes for her gifts to them, she sent their parents a set of Thank you note cards with envelopes and postage! So, great-grandma was wise in helping her grandchildren and great-grandchildren learn how to express gratitude. She is spunky and outspoken.

For the drive, his parents allowed him to use his Kindle to read or play games. They have installed parental controls which restrict the times of day he can use the device as well as the time he can spend playing games vs reading books on it. Use parental controls. No doubt, on both counts. Why should screen time be limited?

I realize not everyone has family heirlooms to give away, but my grandmother has been downsizing and gifting her grandchildren pieces from her Fostoria Glass collection that were my grandparents wedding gifts back in 1945. This sweet little candy dish was a gift from my grandmother. My husband and I really appreciated that gift. Babysitting.

I did some research to see what kinds of jobs I could get that paid the most with the least amount of additional training and became a computer programmer. I loved going to work each day, making that computer do what I told it to do. Parent’s are proud to say; My Son the Doctor or My Daughter the Astronaut.
