My cute kids when they were little I used to be a Spanish teacher until I stopped working to stay home with my kids. Our two goats I’m planning to milk next year We also have a big garden, fruit trees, a medicinal herb garden and grow some cut flowers. My husband is a middle school language arts teacher.

By exercising at home instead of paying gym fees we saved $600 per year for 17 years ($10,200). By feeding our family of four at home for 20 years we saved $168,768. After the kid’s left home hubby and I saved another $84,384. Weeding gardens $150 a year for 40 years totals $6000. 40,720 Home Repair.

This was a time I had been thinking about not teaching anymore and staying home, so I was looking for new ideas to be thrifty. Home repairs, construction, electrical, auto repair, technology – he’ll try anything after suitable research of YouTube and other resources. My best frugal win is marrying my husband.
