I know that having someone redo an upholstered piece is expensive, but I now understand why – there is a lot of manual and time-consuming work involved. The toy ice cream table and chairs from my Mom’s childhood have an iron frame, which I stripped and spray painted. This series was particularly good. Updating the look.

Here are some ways we recycled our moving waste: Creative Ways to Use the Excess Supply. So far we’ve used the paper for the kids’ drawing and painting. Building a fort out of the boxes is another way to recycle and keep the kids entertained. We hauled all the excess out to recycling on our curbside recycling day.
