It’s frugal-comfort food-deliciousness at it’s best…and it’s super easy! Bring to a boil, turn down to low, and cook for 4-5 hours or until the beans are tender. You COULD use a ham hock, but since I like to keep things as light as possible and they are full of saturated fat, I use the lean ham cubes.
